What's Up Doc: The Best of Student Documentaries

  • Seaside 7 Long Beach Convention Center (map)

More filmmakers are making documentaries and more people are seeking out these films and the creative power of factual filmmaking. Doc filmmakers are choosing engaging subjects, they’re paying close attention to cinematography, using the same storytelling techniques previously used only in narratives and they are presenting their subjects in a raw, real way that audiences connect with. It’s never been a better time to make documentaries. Join us to explore some of the best student docs submitted to AAHSFF!
